Sintentijd

What a lovely and sunny Sunday we had last weekend. Husby and kids worked in the garden to make it ready for the coming winter. Mommy got the last flowers that were found.

It's Saint time. The 11th of November de kids celebrate 'Sint Maarten'. The kids walk down the street and sing at the doors of the neighbours to collect a candy. Love that moment when the candy collection is spread around the table.

The other Saint on horse is more famous. 'Sinterklaas' will arrive next week. Our oldest doesn't believe anymore but the other two are still very ' into Sint'. Despite of the fact that one of the two has to make a surprise for school. The shops sell a lot of Sint stuff. But at Action I found a lovely sketch book that is different from the rest.

At the library I looked around at the sale. Old books are sold there for a little amount. Our daughter loves the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We have this book at home, and hope 'Sinterklaas' will bring the movie, but for only 50 cents of course we couldn't leave this book with the story and photos of the movie ;-)

 EnjoY your week!
