This month topic for URBAN JUNGLE BLOGGERS is a Planty Table Setting. I loved the idea of playing a bit with plants and plates on our table together with ceramics, vegetables and flowers too of course...Normally i use blue and white plates (look at the background), but this time i challenged myself to look for anything but blue and white. Couldn't resist to use a blue West Germany vase though and it suits well with my other thrifted planters and vase. Got the Nicolas Vahé dressing and vinegar bottles for my birthday, together with the green marble tile. Last one comes from Bolia just as the black cutlery. The golden pineapple candle holder is from Rice DK and makes a nice contrast.
I still like our Industrial Grey kitchen wall a lot, but for the next picture i took a white canvas and placed it between kitchen and table. White backgrounds in my pictures are often a canvas. It's perfect to give the subject a bit more attention and it brightens the colors and brings more light.
Next picture is how the setting looks like from a distance. We are so lucky to be surrounded by greens where we live. I had plans to dress a table outside, keep that for another time, since it was a bit rainy today...
